HanBook Terms of Service

The ownership and operation rights of HanBook are owned by Han Language International HK Limited. (Hereinafter referred to as " Han Language International") agrees to provide Internet-based services in accordance with the "HanBook Terms of Service" (hereinafter referred to as "the Terms of Service") and operating rules issued from time to time. Users (hereinafter referred to as "users") are asked to read these terms of service carefully, and minors should read them with your guardian. Unless you have accepted the terms of service, you have no right to use the related services under these terms. Your behavior will be deemed as a unified acceptance of the terms of this service, including any amendments made by Han Language International to the terms of service at any time.

1. Users need carefully read and know the product introduction and abide the terms of services and the relevant laws and regulations of the country or region.

2. Software automatic upgrade function

Unless the user actively chooses not to use the automatic upgrade function of HanBook, it is deemed to agree the automatic upgrade of HanBook.

3. Monitor Service quality

In order to monitor the service quality of HanBook, data related to the quality of service (including but not limited to query delay, the address of the server provided by Han Language International, etc.) will be sent to the server of Han Language International when appropriate. At the same time, HanBook will generate a unique code, when you install or upgrade HanBook service, the code and a message indicating whether the installation and upgrade is successful will be sent to the server. If necessary, the user is obliged to provide various installation and operating environments of HanBook during user deployment, including but not limited to IP address, operating system, and network environment. This is to improve the quality of HanBook's service, and Han Language International guarantees that this information will not be used for illegal or unethical purposes.

4. Register and login

You can get more in-depth use of HanBook products and services through third-party accounts like Google/FaceBook/Wechat/Apple. When verify email address, users promise to abide by the following laws and regulations, national interests, legal rights of citizens, public order, social ethics, and information authenticity. No illegal or bad information should appear in the account information, and the user guarantees it. When using the account, there must not be the following situations:

4.1 Violate the relevant laws and regulations of the country or region to which they belong;

4.2 Damage to public interests;

4.3 Spread rumors, disrupt social order, and undermine social stability

4.4 Spread obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror or instigating crime;

4.5 Insult or slander others, infringe on the lawful rights and interests of others;

4.6 Contain other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations.

5. In accordance with relevant laws, regulations and considering the importance of HanBook products and services, user agrees to provide timely, detailed and accurate account information. If the account information provided by the user is inaccurate, untrue, or contains illegal or harmful information, Han Language International reserves the right not to register, and reserves the right to terminate the user's use of HanBook's various services. The user fully understands and agrees that you must be responsible for all actions under your account, including but not limited to any content you publish and any consequences arising therefrom. You should make your own judgment on the content of this service and bear all risks arising from the use of the content, including the risks arising from the reliance on the correctness, completeness or practicality of the content.

6. User usage

HanBook is intended for non-commercial usage only. It shall not sell, transfer, license or otherwise provide to any third party. If users have any comments on HanBook, or have suggestions on how to improve it, they can send email directly to us. Please note that this also grants Han Language International and third parties the right to use HanBook Han Language International reserves the right to launch commercial ads in HanBook.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

Users acknowledge that Han Language International owns all the rights of HanBook, including but not limited to all intellectual property rights. "Intellectual Property Rights" means all rights and all applications, updates, extensions and reinforcements of those rights under the laws of Patent Law, Copyright Law, Trademark Law, Anti-Unfair Competition Law, etc., whether now or hereafter in force and in force worldwide. User agrees not to modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works of HanBook, decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise obtain source code or all data from HanBook. User agrees not to delete, mask or alter any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property statement made by Han Language International or any third party. 8. User privacy policy

Respect for user privacy is a basic policy of Han Language International. HanBook will collect, store, use, disclose and protect your personal information and data in accordance with HanBook Privacy Policy. Please read the above-mentioned Privacy Policy carefully to help you better protect your personal information. If you are a minor under the age of 18, please inform your guardian to read and confirm the "HanBook Children's Personal Data Protection Policy and Instructions for Guardians" and be sure to seek their consent and guidance before using the services and submitting the personal information and data.

9. Age limitation

You confirm that you have the civil capacity required by the laws of the People's Republic of China to suit your behavior, and ensure that you have the ability to independently assume responsibility for all your actions using the services provided by Han Language International. If you do not have the aforementioned subject qualifications or you are a minor under the age of 18, please read these terms of service with your guardian, and obtain their allowance of using the service and their agreement to the terms of service. Han Language International has the right to claim compensation from your guardian when it requires you to assume responsibility in accordance with legal provisions or this Terms of Service.

10. Service changes

Han Language International reserves the right to change, interrupt or terminate the service at any time without notifying users. The user accepts that Han Language International exercises the right to change, suspend or terminate the service, and Han Language International is not responsible for the user or any third party.

11. Force majeure terms

Han Language International is not liable for losses caused by force majeure. The force majeure mentioned in these terms of service includes: natural disasters, changes in laws and regulations or government orders, and reasons specific to network services, such as failures of domestic and foreign basic telecommunications operators, computer or Internet-related technical defects, restrictions on Internet coverage, computer Factors such as viruses, hacker attacks, and other unforeseen, unavoidable and insurmountable objective circumstances within the legal scope.

12. Notification

All notifications will be sent to users via emails and in-app pushes, or announcements in prominent locations on the website. Han Language International will deliver messages to users through one of the above-mentioned methods to inform them of changes in terms of service, service changes, or other important matters. At the same time, Han Language International reserves the right to launch commercial advertisements in HanBook and users have the right to choose not to accept such advertisements and other information in the promotion emails.

13. Liabilities

If the user’s behavior violates the provisions of national laws and regulations, the terms of service, or Privacy Policy, Han Language International has the right to take, depending on the nature of the user’s behavior, including but not limited to, the suspension or termination of part or all of this Services, restrict, suspend or terminate the login and user accounts, and pursue legal responsibilities, etc. Han Language International does not need to refund any fees to users. If the user violates the terms of service and causes any damage to any third party, the user shall bear the responsibility independently; if Han Language International suffers losses due to this, the user shall also compensate for it. The user agrees to protect and maintain the interests of Han Language International, and is responsible for paying attorney fees, damage compensation fees, government agency penalties, and other infringement compensation fees caused by the user's violation of these terms of service and other terms of service.

14. Service improvement

We will provide HanBook products and services with reasonable technology and cautious attitude. You understand and agree that unless required by law and due to technical restrictions, Han Language International cannot guarantee the reliability and availability of the services provided (including translation results and other specific functions, translation and other specific functions). We will continue to develop new technologies and functions in order to improve our services. At the same time, you can inform us through HanBook's feedback email, and we will work with you to solve the corresponding problems.

15. Laws and regulations

If there is a dispute, the two parties will resolve the dispute through negotiation; if the two parties cannot resolve the dispute through negotiation, the two parties agree that the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission ("CIETAC") shall conduct arbitration in Beijing, China in accordance with CIETAC's effective arbitration rules and applicable laws. Three arbitrators will conduct the trial.
